What to do with goat’s milk or chevon (AKA goat meat)? You can substitute goat’s milk 100% for anything made with regular cow’s milk. Chevon is very lean meat, so recipes for venison are appropriate, but it also can be used in some recipes for lamb. It will usually need some added fat–depending on the goat. Some are pretty fat little critters. I aim to share a few of my favorite recipes with you.
